In my Film II class, we had an assignment to do a photographic restaging of a painting. I decided to take a modern spin on the LDS painting "Farewell, My Stripling Warrior" by Del Parson: [link]
It's based on a story from the Book of Mormon about a group of young men ("striplings") who went to war for the first time, each with a firm faith in God's love for them. They credit their mothers for having that faith.
Taken on an iPhone camera, with some minor touchup to get rid of the noise and change the (airsoft) gun's tip from orange to black.
And no, this isn't an announcement of me joining the military or anything like that.
